The past few weeks have been a little tough – so the simple things, like getting a manicure, mean so much more!
I arrived at the salon, sat with a Revlon hair colour consultant, and she introduced me to the newly formulated Nutri Colour Creme hair treatment. The new formula revives colour, while it nourishes, softens and restores shine to your hair! As a semi-newbie to colouring my hair (it’s only been a year!), I was eager to test it out to see if it could tame some of my brassy tones in between salon appointments. I picked colour 1002 for icy blondes (which technically I am not but – why not test out something new)!
When the colour consultation was done, I moved on to my shellac appointment. Now, I normally don’t use shellac because I have a terrible habit of peeling my nails (shellac or no shellac), but the team brought SLIME for us to play with after our manicures – so I thought the choice was easy. I needed to play with that slime! 😛
My nail technician helped me pick my new colour – Alpine Plum with Ice Bar on top – a different choice for a girl that always picks black or burgundy. Alpine Plum is a pale metallic-y purple. I can already tell it’s the perfect shade for any up-coming holiday parties. Ice Bar is semi-clear with sparkles. It added a touch of sparkles on top of the metallic purple. It made me feel like a fairy! All of the colours in the collection are also perfect for the holidays and come in both shellac and Vinlyux.
Once my nails were done, I sipped on champagne and played with some pink sparkly slime. Totally worth the shellac!
As my mini-spa day came to an end, I was excited to try my new Nutri Colour Creme colour refresher. I washed my hair, left it in for 15 minutes and rinsed. My hair was brighter, less brassy and SO SOFT. I went in to the office the next day and made everyone feel my hair. Needless to say, when my bottle runs out – I’ll be sprinting to the store to get another!
Thanks ASCPR for another fab event – you can’t go wrong with a little slime and champagne!
